I learned that the Japanese word for "gambling" is......."gamboling". Only word that was clear when he was speaking.

I think it's pretty obvious he was gambling, right? That said, it seems hypocritical to me for pro sports leagues to cozy up to gambling while simultaneously barring their players from taking part in it. I don't see the problem with an MLB player betting on NBA games, as long as he wasn't betting on baseball what's the problem?
