Not trying to live in the past, but along with being one of my favorite games to watch over and over again, it is a nice reminder of a few things...
1. It really will never get old. We are the defending CFP National Champions! No one else can say that right now. We need to remember to enjoy it!! 2. Dabo has prepared SO well for end of season games since that awful Orange Bowl appearance. 3. I think I miss Mike Williams more than I miss our beloved Deshaun Watson. I've said it a few times this year, but I don't understand what is going on with Cain and why he seems to have taken a step back in performance and reliability compared to the last 2 years. It's almost like not having Williams has made Cain forget he does need to catch the ball. (Don't get me wrong here though, I'll always miss Deshaun.) 4. I might shed a few tears the day Renfrow leaves us.
I think when we get healthy, our defensive woes will decline. And I do have faith in Kelly Bryant and his passing ability. If you need to renew your faith in him, go back and watch the Louisville game. It is there. He showed it that game. Don't tell me it's just because Louisville isn't good...he was placing throws in great places making them extremely difficult to defend. If the coaches can find that Bryant again, we should be fine.
