I've only spent $100 on a bottle of bourbon once. That was just last week on an Old Elk 7-year store pick that I sampled before I bought.
It was good, but the main reason I bought it was because the clerk went out of the way to be extra helpful, and I wanted to return the favor.
The store had about 50 bottles of liquor open for sampling. The clerk said I could sample as many as I wanted, and insisted that I sample some bottle of some whiskey I had never heard of just because it cost $200 per bottle.
I ended up sampling five or so whiskeys.

"Younger" to me is maybe
'60' s and 70's. Been "older" ever since. What is your definition of "younger"? But i think bourbon is ageless anyway. Just MHO.

I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff with that logo on it around Greenville lately. Shirts, hats, stickers on cars, now bourbon. They seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of it.
