UNITED STATE MILITARY

Sep 17, 2012, 10:49 PM

Thank you for all of the service you all have given towards the safety, security, and duty for this country. You individuals have not been thanked enough for everything you do for this country. People who do not acknowledge you or appreciate what exactly you do don't even know how, or why you support this country. Being a civilian I do not know or have any military experience but I want to personally thank you whether or not you have been on the front lines, for defending this country.

I want to join either the marine or army reserves and would appreciate some experiences or knowledge but once again, I thank you for everything you do and the people of the United States are forever in your gratitude. PM me please if you have some input, and once again,

and I cannot say enough,

Thank you.

bwhill

that means a lot. I've been active duty in the Marine Corps for over 15 years. Thanks for having our backs. You can email any questions to me at scsu1996bulldog@gmail.com.

War changes people

Sep 18, 2012, 5:12 AM

It is not an easy job at all. One of the most stressful if not the most stressful in the world. I have known people who go in and then come out differently. My friend's brother-in-law came back and just sat in his room all day with the lights off or slept all day. His wife left him, he doesn't play with his kid. He saw some things that really changed him.

bwhill, I spent 10 years as an active duty Infantry Officer in the Marine Corps after I graduated from Clemson back in 1990.

My wife is still an active duty Coast Guard Officer. The Marine Corps was, easily, the most significant part of my life. I would recommend some sort of service to anyone.
