Joe isn’t good at, either. If he can’t score, there’s no need for him to be on the floor.

Why is he consistently driving the ball all the way to he rim instead of pulling up for a short jumper?

Give him multiple screens and we would see many more made 3s and then effective slips/rolls for big guys.
