Saw in the article about the defense that Trotter is injured. I had missed that if it had been discussed before today. Anyone have any information?? IMO, he is key to our defense being great rather than good.

I saw a report by Larry Williams on Twitter where he alluded to Trotter being injured but the report itself is behind his site’s paywall. David Hood’s report this morning is the first I’ve seen confirmating he’s injured.

It says Trotter is out for now then the article quotes Dabo if someone’s toenail falls off Woodaz will be ready. Maybe Dabo was not being sarcastic with the toenail falling off statement ?

and the So. DBs. other than that. I could care less about injuries.
IMO, the upperclassmen are the ones that could never make it to the CFP.

We have maybe the best LB tandem in the country in Trotter and Carter. Losing either of them to any type of serious or nagging injury would be a big blow to this defense. Sorry you are so hurt about the last couple of years but we have some very good upperclassmen. Do you feel the same way about running backs? How about defensive tackles? Would you prefer that Ruke and TD had gone in the draft??

and i'm not sold on Shipley. he looks great against ACC team but not SEC.
i'm also ok with the dline coming back but i'm only excited for XT
the DBs . i'm a huge Jayden Lukas and Torino Pride Jr fan. i want the others to do very well but i see the underclassmen as better athletes (just not the same experience)

i didn't like seeing Skalski take the spot and prevent them from shining freshmen year
I wasn't a fan of Skalski. i just remember rewatching the UGa game and counting the number of times our athletes had to slow down because Skalski was undercutting them to the tackle
imo, he actually slowed the defensive pursuit of our DBs down or made them not able to do anything

LOL, uhh that ain't the way this football thing works dude. Anderson, McCloud, Barnes, etc are all good prospects, but Trotter is one of the better LBs in the country. I'm on record here as hoping your guys can win the ACC or at least go 11-1 or something so we can play you guys in the CFP. The liklihood of that happening takes a serious hit without Trotter. smdh.

I read the same thing on Burley, it's a knee but no details given. I'd imagine with the depth at DT, they won't rush him back.

Tell me about it, dang human bodies. Fans like the above I just don't see how you even enjoy watching football. Whine and cry over every little thing and the guy talking about the upperclassmen being the ones that couldn't win enough, you do realize that guys tend to grow and progress as they get older. That's the way it goes usually. We tend to know more the older we get. Same with football. I'm just amazed at the dumbassery I see on the daily here.
