Someone help me. Is he too slow or just not ready? I know BV knows alot more than me, but I'd like to have my best 7 behind the D line.

he is playing but he has seniors ahead at safety. I think they are putting him in where his role is more limited and he doesnt have as many responsibilities. kid is a player. he is and will be fine

I think he is going to be a star in the nickel/safety position in short order.

Coach is getting him anyway he can as often as he can. With time he will be an impact player!! and he will require very little time to be that star.

he thinks Blanks is an outstanding talent. The kid plays faster than everyone else, is all over the field and is a fearless hitter. Blanks may well be on his way to being an All-American before he graduates.

and I can't help but agree with this is that we have a big issue at FS. Blanks is actually currently playing a hybrid LB spot - whatever you want to call it. Moving him to SS and moving the current SS to FS could fix a lot of issues. Which we definitely have.
I'm not sure why 31 isn't playing much or starting - his injury must still be hampering him.
