I believe that this has more to do with the fact that we are stuck in the ACC with the GOR deal, and nothing to do with our program itself.

It wasn't that long ago that the Clemson FB HC-ing job was ranked in the top 5. It's amazing how one not so good QB can cause the HC-ing job to fall all the way out of the top 10. I guess that's what happens when a college FB rating outlet is desperately looking for a reason to knock Dabo down a few notches.
What they really need to do, is ask Dabo how he feels about it, bc if they did ask him, they could also print that Dabo said that his job wasn't about ratings, that it was about preparing young men to be outstanding fathers and husbands, and outstanding citizens in their community, and hopefully coach his players to be a good teammate as a FB player!!!

ND in the top ten is a joke. I get the history, tradition, and TV deal. The reality is it's Cow Town, IN and ability to recruit matters. Brian Kelly is a top 3-4 coach and he left because he knew he couldn't get enough top recruits to win a NC. Also, they underpay their coaches.

The idea of these rankings is what advantages does a school give you. Notre Dame has one of, if not the, largest fanbases, and it is not regional but nationwide. That TV deal gives them a LOT of money. And their alumni base is extremely rich. That leads to NIL deals, and NIL is now the heart and soul of recruiting. They haven't been as big on the NIL game yet, and they have somewhat difficult academic requirements, but they are a sleeping giant.
