Sounds like a great kid and someone who would fit perfectly in the Clemson culture. Best wishes to him.

Clemson is in it until Arch M makes it official we are not.
Similar situation with TL16 years ago. Definitely don't know if this is gonna end the same with AM coming to Clemson but I've always said, no article has given ANY indication this guy has a clear cut favorite.
I'd honestly thought before the season we'd probably be in the top 5 easily - not sure if it's the same now but glad to read he had a great time visiting and hope to see him in Orange and Purple soon!

For sure we have Cade Klubnik coming in the 2022 class, and if we don't land Manning, that gives Dabo time to find another talented QB that will come to, and love Clemson soon after the 2022 class.
Like the parents of all our Clemson players, they wanted their kids to come to a program like Clemson with a HC like Dabo Swinney.
I'm not saying that we won't get Manning, but if we don't, we will get another talented QB that wants to be where he can win championships just like DW4, and Trevor Lawrence did at Clemson. A place where their parents will feel that their kid will be safe, and stay away from trouble, and there isn't a better place than Clemson with the HC being Dabo Swinney, and Arch Manning would make a great Clemson man that never needs an introduction!!!
Clemson is a place that athletes can come and win championships, get a great education, and leave with a degree, and not a criminal record, Go Tigers!!!

But but but ... all of the T.Elliott and B.Streeter haters (i.e., the self-proclaimed experts about both football and recruiting) have told us again and again that Clemson has no chance with good recruits until we fire the entire offense coaching staff.
Where are these idiot-posters now? Probably back at FGF worshipping S.Beamer and longing for the days of W.Muschamp.

Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think that Arch Manning's recruitment has anything to do with TE or Streeter. We are in the running because the experience that the last QB that had this much hype had. Yes, that was partly because of TE and Streeter, but like Lawrence, Manning does not need our program to develop him. His family will take care of that, so he just needs a family while he is away from home. Clemson has always excelled at being family and have proven that we can do it with the loftiest of recruits.

Great young man. Clearly not a good fit for UGa “culture.”

Sounds like he is a better kid than football player ..... and that is saying a lot. I'll be a fan of his regardless of where he plays his college football.

Note to coaches when looking for QBs

Go after guys that don’t run like they have cinder blocks tied to each leg, and carrying a refrigerator.

I've never seen someone look so athletic but yet not be. DjU completely fooled me. Like you said it looks like he has two cinderblocks tied to his feet.

Is it just me or could you substitute Trevor's name for Arch's in this article and it would still ring true? Humility, leadership, a good young man, etc., etc. Like Trevor, this young man is destined for greatness. I would love to see him follow in Trevor's footsteps. Heck, they both count Peyton as their hero.

Father, Grandfather, and Uncle went to Ole Miss... Based on that alone, I don't really see it happening for the Tigers. With Lane Kiffin improving things there, seems like that will be the spot. However, Kiffin might also the odd x-factor if his erratic personality scares them away.
I read in an Ole Miss site he really liked Kiffin, got along well, and thought he was "pretty cool."

Enjoy driving your truck around Lil Ole Clemson for a few years before you have to head out to big city NFL.

Actually we can't call it a truck until we find out if its FORD. FORD makes only trucks in USA. Others just make vehicles with beds on them. I hope he had blast at Clemson. The Clemson atmosphere usually makes visit before future home. If he does come to Clemson will Dabo be smart enough to play if early so does leave the transfer portal. He's already several that way.
