There may be more significance to this event than it appears.
Sunday, Streeter tells KB that Trevor will start the next game. Dabo talks to KB Monday. Tuesday, KB texted Dabo that he was quitting. That night, “several seniors” go to KB’s apartment to celebrate his birthday. Presumably, KB told them he was leaving the team. Wednesday morning, Christian Wilkins takes Trevor to breakfast in public, shortly before Dabo’s press appearance where he went into a good deal of detail about KB’s decision.
The timeline suggests that senior Christian Wilkins, who is very much a leader of the team, and a friend of KB’s, was signaling that the seniors and the defense are supporting Trevor as their QB.
Then again, maybe Christian just wanted to have breakfast with Trevor.

WOW.
Can anyone doubt that Dabo's approach works to build young men?
Just, WOW.

We need to give credit across the board for the finished product. Dabo is building high quality young men, but our coaches take a very good look at the foundations and framework before they decide which boys to develop in the first place.

I wish all Tnet’s had that same heart and attitude. Any juan in the Myrtle Beach area want to meet up at Joes Airport Diner one morning this week? ??

I don't doubt for a second they went to breakfast together, or that it was at CW42's initiation.
But i definitely doubt that he paid. Christian is notoriously cheap.

Dabo Is Making Young Men....

into the future leaders of their community . For him doing the right thing comes first.
If my memory is correct a few years ago Dabo suspended 4 players for the opener against Georgia for breaking team rules. Dabo said he'd rather go 0-12 and have discipline on the team than go 12-0 and have a team that lacked discipline .
Dabo's legacy continues to grow on both the Clemson campus and across the college football landscape...it's been fun to watch the naysayer's have to eat their words about Clemson's "Cheerleader" .

I cannot imagine turning your son over to a better man than our coach. It’s something we should all take pride in. Parents trust this man with their 18-19 year old sons and Dabo does what he says. He turns them into good citizens to become good men. The decision KB came as such a shock to a lot of us because it is so against what this program teaches. When KB wasn’t sure if he’d ever play again the one school that didn’t stop recruiting him was Clemson. Sure a lot of schools came calling after his senior year but Clemson was there before that occurred. Dabo showed him loyalty and KB took that loyalty and did what? He bad mouths the program. He whines about the way he was treated? It’s very sad.

I wish KB every success unless the team he is on is playing Clemson! He gave us a great year, he graduated, his choices are a man's choices. We all have to make them and he made his.
Let it go, do not have hard feelings toward KB!

The food, at least back in medieval times when I was there, was not bad. But, there was always at least one running joke about the menu.
On Mondays, we would have veal cutlets. (Mystery Meat!) On Tuesdays we would have breaded (dreaded) veal cutlets. (2nd Stage Mystery Meat, leftover from Monday!)

I’m wondering why this was written as if there really are two factions...one for Kelly Bryant and one for Trevor Lawrence. I haven’t seen that in any comments on this site, Twitter, or Facebook. What I have seen, however, is a faction in support of Kelly being able to make his own decision to leave and a faction attacking him and his character for making the decision. In all I have read, I have not seen any negative and right down ugly comments towards Trevor, but the ugliness towards Kelly has been embarrassing and shameful for me to read, as a Clemson graduate. I don’t think I ever realized how hateful some of our fans really are. You can be a person who supports and wants the best for both young men without being hateful and mean-spirited.
