Tired of hearing QB should be in high school

Bentley is 19 years old. Same age DW was when he whooped the coots as a freshman. He was held back a year in middle school. He's not the phenom the media is trying to make him out to be. They say he should still be in high school and after watching him last night, they are right! As should their o-line, d-line, and db's. Man they were bad! Love it

Watching the replay, I noticed the announcers said McIlwain was 18 - younger than Bentley.

He should be a freshman in college, and he's on the old end of the age range for freshmen. He skipped 12th grade but was also held back a year previously, so 12 years to get thru 12 grades. It's not rocket science. If he was held back 5 years but skipped 12th grade and was a 23 year old freshman, would they still say he should be in high school. Probably. Coots and the media don't have much sense.
