Tiger Depth

Guys, I know I drink the Orange Kool-Aid, but I finally see us with the skill, the hogs (on both sides of the ball) and the quality depth all around to compete with most anybody. I know that the team has to take on its own persona on the field and the chemistry has to be right, but I have seen this coming for a while now, and the pieces seem to be in place. We finally have the tool chest we have been searching for. Am I wrong? Am I all alone with my thoughts?
What am I missing?

agree somewhat... still concerned about our Def...if we get the pass rush we need then I think the def backs will be OK

Agreed, Litefoot, that depth is a concern on offense and on defense, but I just thought I saw a different mentality from this group at work in the latter part of this past year, and especially in the Chic-fil-a Bowl game. This group seems to get it, and I like the attitude I see and hear about from the class we signed last year. IMO, and I hope I'm right, we have turned a corner, but time will tell.

Other teams are deep too. We have an excellent shot to run the table, but you could make the same case for FSU. UGa and the cluckers will be solid too, but probably will not win them all.
In other words, we will be good but will also play other quality teams. They will not just lay down for us.
However, I like the way this year shapes up.

I like those dreams, and one thing I tell all the young people I see (football players and those entering the work force), "Don't let anybody steal your dream." This team seems ready to live out the dream, and I'm ready to live it out with them.

You are all over it, but I don't see this team, nor this coaching staff even look like they would lay down until after the last whistle.

I wish we was deeper in secondary. cant afford injury there. On offense we are TOO Deep. On defense we are just deep.

Don't disagree. When it comes to quality depth, though, I'm pretty sure there never can be enough. That said, though, I see us as having taken major steps forward when it comes to fielding a team like we want.

I think you are correct in what you are saying, but there are some other things that holds Clemson back IMO. When FSU joined the ACC I was not happy and I believed they would dominate at first for a few years and then go down from there. Clemson is a very good team with a lot of talent. I just think it is hard to get better when you play teams like wake forrest, BC, etc. most weeks. Even talented players will not have to push themselves against inferior talent.
Clemson has greatly improved the out of conf. schedule and that will help you in the long run and may solve what I think is the issue. I think FSU has the same issue. We both have talent, we can play at high levels, we have most of the pieces of the puzzle, but we cannot consistently put that puzzle together.
A good example for CU is...how do you let the ##### come into your house, with a back-up QB, a 3rd and 4th string RB and beat you. That should not have happened and there was a time that would not have happened.
Again, I think with some upgrade in OL and DL , and if most of the ACC could get stronger to give you more of a challenge...Clemson would be extremely hard to beat....every week.
