Thoughts about coaching staff & Dabo work load

Dabo has taken on a lot of extra work load. The Chad and BV worked for Dabo, but they were men who took the lead and worked as unit leaders and equals. Jeff and Brad Scott brought moxie, experience and a truckload of recruiting ties to top Florida recruits.

Tony Elliott (soon to be former UVA HC) and the current crop of Dabo alums, friends & proteges are not equals and add to the HC workload. They are trainees, and while Dabo clearly enjoys their support and camaraderie, it comes at a cost. Dabo is spending time in the weeds and stretched thin, and the program is taking a hit as a result. If Dabo is working with WR's, RB's, Kickers, and Defense, what is he not able to focus on that he could with BV's leadership and fire at Clemson? Recruiting? Other? How is Dabo's stress load? Valid questions.

It will be interesting to see any coaching adjustments heading into the Syracuse game. Also, to see if Garrett Riley decides to come back in 2024, and if Dabo finds himself forced to make other coaching changes dependent on 2023 results. Lots of season left.
