Are gonna have to wait another week at least

LSU survives scare
Tenn blows open a semi-close game & runs up score
TCU holding on over an offensively-inept Texas
Georgia up by 3 possessions late at Miss St
Washington blowing opportunity at Oregon

Looks like we aren't gonna get any lucky breaks like we did in '16 after the Pitt loss. As much as missing CFP for 2 years running will suck, if our boys win out will still be heck of a lot better than last year.

Yeah, this was the big weekend. Next one is probably the conference games. Texas being inept is a shocker with as many points tcu been giving up.

This weekend was probably the weekend for it, especially in the SEC

LSU I figured was low-hanging fruit for upset coming off the Bama win. Mizzou would've been stretch to win, but figured they would be in position if Tennessee came out flat after the UGA loss. Don't see any of their remaining RS foes beating them. Georgia losing before SECCG is a pipe dream.

TCU was another low-hanging fruit since B12 has history of shooting themselves in foot by having NC contenders getting beat. However, b/c we'd need it so bad, watch this be the year it don't happen.

P12 is still a chance since still got USC/UCLA, Oregon still has to play Utah & Oregon St.

But as said, hoping our boys just take care of business rest of way. If the ceiling is 1-loss ACC & Orange Bowl champ, then so be it. Gives something to build on for 2023
