Here's the New York FED's favorite measure, Multivariate core Trend. It filters out some noise, and there's no human interference in how it updates from quarter to quarter.

Right now, it says we're at 2.6%. OMG, We're ALL DEAD!!!!!!!

You can see it shot up with other measures, and has now come waaaay back down, almost to the FED's 2% target. Inflation has mostly been conquered, folks.

I know we need to hate Biden and protesters on campuses. So, we can let on about these fact things and inflation. So, we'll keep pretending we live in a Bolshevik Hellscape.
