Hey Brandon, forget the (-) fancy numbers. This was an "F-" from the opening kick off.

Absolutely ... 2 consecutive years without being in the College Football Playoffs.
Fire everybody and get someone who is hungry ... Justin Fuentes (ex-VA Tech head coach).
I don't think that Fuente got a new job, and maybe he really is a bit hungry if the food kitchens haven't gotten any donations lately.

Clemson's 2 scoring drives

How come we did well at the end? What changed? I know ND wasnt going easy on us like my wife said. Why wouldn't they want a shutout? We threw forward, and voila! It worked. Can anybody help here?

Well, at the 28-0 mark .. they knew they had it. We hadn’t shown anything on offense at that point. We lost by 3 TD’s but .. the game wasn’t that close.

And let's be honest, there were two very questionable PI calls that kept our drives alive.

My guess is that the coaches didn't trust DJ to throw the ball downfield. But then the score got so completely out-of-hand that the coaches had no choice but to risk letting DJ sling it downfield. Terrible, terrible play-calling. Instead of yanking DJ, they should have yanked Streeter.
They also need to open up a QB competition and get Klubnik seasoned up with more practice reps with the ones. DJ seems to have hit his ceiling.

Yeah. I don’t think many words were needed for this article. Just one letter grade would’ve sufficed.

My worst students have higher grades than this staff based on what we have seen. Difference is that any one of these coaches makes more than I will in a decade. One particular make more than I will in my lifetime.

If Dabo is true to his motto and “Best is the Standard” then

some serious changes are coming….otherwise he’s just using words and not being true to what has been created over the past decade! D1 coaching is a serious job with seriously good pay…make the changes necessary and don’t stand ignorantly with something or someone when it is obvious to the masses that it is not working! Coordinators who can’t produce success on the field with the level of talent that is at Clemson need to be replaced, period! The product on the filed the past year and a half (especially on offense) is unacceptable! Run it as a business, care for the people around you,,, even enough to let them go if they are not living up to the standard! Otherwise, you’re not doing anyone any favors by keeping them around and not letting them feel the repercussions of the product they produce. Those that cannot produce at the high level that has been set must be replaced, period! Otherwise you are letting them wallow in mediocrity & even they won’t get better as individuals! This is Serious business…treat it as such!!

No argument but a question. When the offense was on the field and the camera would cut to Dabo he had his headset on, play sheet in hand that he was referencing, and was always talking. I don't think two people can speak simultaneously so is he calling some of these plays? Not trying to stir the pot just looking for some insight.

He most certainly is, he said in a interview that he just has input into the play calling. The lack of calling passing plays downfield has me concerned more then anything. I think it was mid way n the second qtr until we attempted a pass that went more than 10 yards downfield in the air. Everything before that was a pass behind the LOS or just a dump off pass on third in long. One thing I will never get when it’s 3rd & 10 and we throw a dump off pass. THROW THE BALL PAST THE STICKS!! This isn’t rocket science!! The play calling has been the most frustrating thing in the past 3 weeks by far. If DJ can’t throw the ball down the field then we can’t win a Natty so might as well get the future in at QB and get him ready to compete for next year. Very disappointed as a lifelong Clemson fan to see how poorly Dabo and the staff have handled DJ. Dabo is WAY to loyal to these upperclassman then he should be.

What's somewhat shocking is that they played worse than the previous poor performance.

were out muscled, out smarted, out coached and out willed. If you can't be all in every play don't show up and let someone else do your job.
