I had a nephew who was a walk on at Clemson.
He told me that if your were negative in accountability points, you was not putting any effort into class/ football. It was easy to stay positive points

Dude may have gone to UNC but does not provide opinion. He is just quoting what the kid and dad are saying. I’m sure Dabo was reached out to but gave a no comment.
If anything, I think this shows the events as even more of a nothing-burger.
[As that day’s practice went on, Jaden Kinard said Swinney “would continue to just keep badgering me and throw personal shots” while he tried to tune the coach out. “He would walk away and come back and say more things like I have the ability to be good, but I’m just mentally weak,” Kinard said.]
And Dabo was evidently correct.

Just because Kinard took his comments personally, doesn’t make them “personal” . Clear embodiment of a kid that’s had his butt-kissed the majority of his life, and for no reason other than the fact that his dad played in the NFL.

Son gets yelled at by the coach at football practice. Is that it? My question is why would son get on the phone and tell dad right after practice? Isn't that kind of weird? Does he call dad if he doesn't make an A in a class or if he gets a parking ticket or if he gets turned down for a date?
If they were really thinking, they should be glad Dabo yelled at him. The time to be worried or upset is when no one pays attention to him at all. That's when he's really out to pasture.
