The spread in the SC game is a little high. Have they even

lost any game by 24 points this year? Is their defense even averaging giving up 24 points per game this year? I'd love to see us cover, but not sure. Also, we were a 17 point opening favorite over Pitt and by game time, betting had pushed it to 22.

Well, they have played no one. Tenn. and Florida are way overrated. They have only one win against a team with a winning record.

Lol, one win over a team with a winning record?! That's an awesome statistic. If we don't cover the spread, we basically were a turnover machine and/or we let the cheerleaders play.

Florida is an 8 point underdog to FSU.

Think about that.

spread is high. And it ain't similar to Pitt. Pitt is a much more talented and better coached team, that could have had only two losses instead of four if they didn't lose close games to VT and UNC

They've also been playing Nerf Football in the SEC East. They might be 6-5, but it's a special kind of 6-5...S&P+ has them at 88th, the weakest team above .500 in the nation except for the 90th-ranked Idaho Vandals, which gives you an idea of how their performances have looked to the math geeks.

They won yesterday just handing it off to Rico Dawdle, who was busting it for 10.8 yards per carry. Mind, you can do that, against a 2-8 FCS team. They still only won 44-31.

Of course, when Clemson last played an FCS team, it was SC State (who is now 4-7); we won 59-0 and shortened the game to 12-minute quarters to just get it over without too much humiliation.

On paper this one is not close. Remotely.
