The only answer to NIL and transfer portal

Is to have players sign a three year contract with the entity that is paying the NIL. Coaches have contracts with buyouts, why don’t players operate under the same rules?

Should only be able to transfer once and a one time NIL with a cap on it .The game I loved is becoming not worth any interest .
I know players have always received some money or kick back in the past but now it’s beyond ridiculous.
The National Championship is becoming a meaningless bought trophy .

Agree. It's totally out of control. It's sad to see what a cesspool it has become.

In really is all that does matter - should we win another, there will be much joy.
The entities taking it in the shorts are the other bowls and their sponsors. How many people outside of the fan base give a hoot about the other bowls, when the good players don’t play?
A bowl game was intended to be a reward for the players, and to a lesser extent the fans, for an at least good season. It used to be viewed as one last chance for the team to play together because they loved to play football.
If the players responsible for the success are scared to play, what are we even doing?
Just go to a 16 team tourney and get it over with - no tourney, no money. No sharing revenue. THAT would be exciting.

For the right price! If you’re trying to lock up a top player who has leverage, be ready to open your wallet very wide. For every K provision that is pro-collective, there is a premium to be paid.

Contracts with incentives for accomplishments, like playing in a bowl, playing the the top 12 tournament, playing for a NC and winning an NC.
If the players have contracts, that would stop the free transferring and the opt outs in bowl season.
Players are being paid now it’s time for responsibility to go with the money.
