Clawson nails it on the head and underscores why so many including myself question the motives and origins behind the Michigan situation.

Still believe if Michigan weren't playing for a CFP berth, it wouldnt be news.

In other words, selective enforcement and selective accountability are why the NCAA is a relic.

A good practice is if you don't have a dog in a fight and don't have a path to changing that situation, don't worry about it.

I'm not particularly worried about the Michigan situation. More a commentary on the NCAA's cherry picking ways. Not unlike the NFL's selective outrage depending on the team, the topic, the trending news.

Wakeyleaks is still one of the craziest stories in the sport. They did not just have signals, they had full game plans, playbooks, and practice notes. The fact that the NCAA was alerted almost 2 years before and did nothing, not even notify Wake Forest is wild. Almost cost Clawson his job, went 3-9 in the two seasons before it came out
