Is to increase the number of cohort groups. There are 363 teams in the ranking so about 90 per quad. The top five teams in quad 1 are: Houston, Tenn, bama, Purdue, and UCLA; all legitimate final four contenders. The bottom five in quad 1 are: Cornell, James Madison, Lousiana (not LSU), St. Louis, and Drake. Can anyone really make a reasonable argument that a win agains a team in the latter group should be worth anywhere near as much as a win against the former?

Conversely in quad 4 our losses are to 277 Loyola Chicago (7-13) and 280 the Columbia school for trouble youths (8-12). Is that as bad as losing to 1-18 LIU or 1-19 ooey pooey (IUPUI)?

Now it’ll never change cause it just sounds cool to call em quads; but consider this, the Latin word for 6 is sex. If we had 6 groups we could call em sexes or sexys. At least that way when a team gets screwed like Clemson, there’d be a more direct correlation to the names.

Quad 1 games are top 50 at home and top 75 on the road I'm pretty sure. So not 90. I get ur point tho.
