This team has the right dna but they have hit a rough patch of some losing and poor pitching recently. I’m not gonna sit here and act like we’re a top 5 team because we’re not right now but for all the Debby downers that is treating this team like this is the football team currently are scumbags. I said in a previous post we have been banged up and this is baseball every hot teams cools off but trust me when I say I’m glad it started a few weeks ago because that just gives us a chance to get it rolling again and get hot at the right time (the postseason). For all of you reading this and thinking what are you talking about let’s look at the braves the past couple of years; best team in baseball (Regular season) win division*, and the Phillies are just hanging around and then out of nowhere BANG the postseason hits and the Phillies have the braves number and they look hopeless in the postseason. This is the ebbs and flows of baseball ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN and believe it or not Clemson is a just a few games away and/or the ACC tourney away from being hot again…… Go tigers!

Agree about the getting hot or going cold. However, our bullpen has been the bugaboo all season. The bats covered up for it, but now the opposing teams are going to look more like Wake than ND. Not confident the Tigers can continue to outscore the lack of pitching. That said, BC probably arrives at Doug Kingsmore at the right time.

I'm quite sure I'm one of the Debbie downers in which you state. I did post I felt like this team was more like the 2014 football team.

I've also reveled in our glory. But from the start of the season, I've never felt like we were a top 10 team. Number 1 is because we lost Casey and Samol b4 first pitch. No denying we're made of the right stuff. Thanks coach B.

We're young and have some hitters in the line-up that haven't had the ABs to hit good pitching. We tend to freeze up when facing good pitching. The injuries didn't help. I just think we're a few pieces short of making a deep run. Hence the 2014 fb reference. A good team capable of beating any team. Taking a series in a super, probably not.

I agree with Smillsap1 assessment.
