Those facilities were a full court.
Brad let administration know when he came in that they would only use half court with no exceptions.

OP was making a little over $1.3 Million per year with Clemson after just signing a new contract in June. For some odd reason, his buyout was only $250,000.
DePaul offered him $2.2 Million for 7 years. What would you do?

Nobody complained that OP left Clemson for a "better" opportunity. People complained because he left in the middle of the night without even talking to the players. It was a coward move
Also, it's crazy that people seem to love OP even though he had a worse ACC win % than Brownell and just a slightly better overall win % despite playing a cupcake OOC schedule every year. Why do people think OP was a great coach? He peaked at losing in the first round of the tournament.
I am just as disappointed as the rest of you in last season and the start of this season, but you keep comparing him to Brownell when he has had about the same amount of success. Oh he went to a couple more NCAA tourney's and lost in the first round. Big F'ing deal

It's the last 11 years.
I haven't seen anybody suggesting that Purnell was a great coach. That's a straw man.
Most fans would agree that Purnell's teams were much more enjoyable to watch than the product we've seen over the last 11 years. He was responsible for 7 straight postseason tournament appearances in his 8 years at Clemson. There was a momentum in the program.
Brownell killed it.

I have said this many times. People act like Purnell left Brownell a program that was in great shape. Sure we had previously made the tourney, and Brownell even coached us to the tourney in his first year.
After that, the team didn't any upperclassmen talent. Purnell left out of nowhere near signing day and we didn't get a single commit that year.
I think we can all agree that Clemson has never recruited elite players. We rely on the development of our upperclassmen to be competitive. That is a fact. It has been very rare that we have had elite freshman.
In Brownell's third year, his upperclassmen were Milton Jennings and Devin Booker. They were seniors and we had no juniors. That is horrible. That is what Purnell left Brownell.

The basketball team cleans up after themselves and Brad doesn’t go down Dabo’s slide (them Brownlee digs about Dabo not being a world champion got his slide privileges rebuked).
Then Littlejohn could be cleared for a bad ace football parking lot and Clemson Basketball’s biggest contribution to Clemson Athletics will be complete!!!
