This past season has without a doubt put Clemson football in the position to make a run at a national title. This upcoming season will be our best chance for a national title. After this year realistically, two or three years could be our next shot with tajh leaving and the grooming of Mr. Watson. To compete year in and year out we will need consistent top 10-15 recruiting classes to having a fighting chance with the sec.

That means this years recruiting class is imperative. Offense puts fans in the stands and Defense wins championships. I feel that we are positioned to have a chance to land some Quality defensive lineman in this years cycle.

Defensive Tackles: Andrew Brown/VA, Dexter Widerman/SC, Lamont Gaillard/NC, Khairi Clark/FL, and Elisha Shaw/GA

Defensive End: Kentavis Street/NC, Lorenzo Carter/GA, Andrew Williams/GA, Lorenzo Featherston/NC, and Da'shawn Hand/VA (long-shot).

* If we could manage to land 4 or even 5 of these Defensive line targets...Watchout because we could make opposing offensives collapse.

So Chad Kelly should be overlooked and we should all focus on a HS QB that cant enroll until next year ? GOt IT.

we will be no slouches in 2014 either. once again we return the bulk of our players on both lines and Our defense should be caught up to our offense by the end of this year. Both Kelly and Stoudt will be a year older and more than capable of leading the offense, but agree that this year could be special if Tahj has a another great year.
