in scheming someone open.

TE comes in motion towards 2 Receivers to the left. The outside receiver releases inside, wide open thank to the confusion of the motion and the route tree.

That’s the real difference right there. Not so much a huge

discrepancy in talent. They have the best tight ends and a 5’10 wide prep school wide receiver and just carve people up with scheme. Not so much total explosiveness but scary effective.

Not buying that.

The root cause of our offensive issues these last two years has not been the WRs or "scheming them open". The root cause has been having a QB confident and capable of getting the ball to open guys. All season long we had free guys , but we were lacking in the QB's ability to see then or get them the ball.

I thought we all saw the IMMEDIATE improvement when we played Cade. Much more capable of seeing the field and getting the ball out on time and on target. And before anyone says something about UNCs and UTs defenses, keep in mind we had nearly 100 more yards than UT was giving up on average. I think we can all agree neither of those games see the same offensive output with the old QB.

Long story short, our issue hasn't been scheme or having open receivers. The issue has been seeing them and getting the ball to them.

Shouldn't be judging the last two seasons without first and foremost recognizing the root cause. Streeter improved our offensive stats in every single category, and we got even better once the QB change was made.

Only two games into a new offense, with much better output. Let's see what happens, but I'm thinking the tone will change.

wonder if they're watching from the Clemson offensive
