D. Hood et al - any insight on Shipley?

Lots of chirping on here and various opinions, but do you have any insight into what was actually happening?
As a side note, Ship got several softballs on his “leadership style” and it not being for everyone by some members of the media. The specific person seemed dumbfounded that anyone wouldn’t like his style… you might want to point them to this incident or other incidences from previous seasons where Ships emotions get the best of him and he acts with petulance. (Big Shipley fan, btw… but it’s one area where his emotions seem to be a negative IMO).

Whoever said that was leadership is fishing for points. Shipley had a meltdown that reminded me of a 10 year old boy screeching because he was told no. Any other theory is wrong. He stepped up to CJ on camera and then didn’t play again. How is that being a leader?

It was a member of the national media during player interviews leading up to the game, ie, this particular incident hadn’t happened yet.

Spiller questioned Shipley's effort on the short and goal situation. Shipley called out the O Line. That's what happened.

that. With that said, he had a right to be pizzed if spiller questioned his effort. Ship is the only player on offense that you can tell is playing 100% every snap. I swear if the whole offense had his heart and "want to" we'd be in good shape.
Problem is it shouldn't be on Shipley to pull that out of the other guys. That's on coaching staff.

Ship turned around to see QB keeper called for third down after he’d done jack squat two plays in a row, and threw a tantrum that he didn’t get a third try.

Ha, exactly. It’s why it’s dangerous to slobber all over players / families you know very little about. The whole DJ and his father thing was kinda embarrassing at the time several years ago

He was mad because he doesn't have a rushing TD yet in 3 games. He wanted his chance to get his from the 1yd line since he had pushed the last 4yds. Plus add in he feels like Mafah has been given some easy walk-ins.
