Tempers are high, lets cool it...

I still stand behind our Tigers and still think we can have a great season. All is not lost. But first, let me ask of yall...did you really think we were a NC caliber team?
I myself wasn't sold on the #3 ranking because first of all, I think most of the teams in the SEC are overrated. Our current standing and meter of success has mostly been pegged on beating SEC teams, especially defeating UGA at the beginning of the season. Many of you caved and actually began to BELIEVE the SEC hype machine and thought that UGA was some super talented, NC caliber team...that simply is not the case. FSU was our FIRST real test. Their defense may be the best we face all season.
I think it will still be great for the conference if FSU goes on to win out and potentially play for a national title. I know many of you will probably say screw that, and are still sore over the loss, but this MAY help us in the long run. National perspective on our conference and strength of schedule MUST change, and the best way to do that is for the ACC to take home that crystal ball.
And if you want another reason/what-if-scenario to ease the pain of the loss, can you imagine if we won out then lost to those inbreeds of USuC? That would have been the absolute worst case scenario. At least they will not have the satisfaction of taking us out of the title game.
Our coaching staff just needs to continue to focus on recruiting and bringing in top tier talent and these games will be won. FSU was an anomaly...a freakish anomaly. Their QB may be the Heisman before all is said and done. Lets dust ourselves off, and get ready for MD...this can still be a great season...

not now I don't. I did before we played fsu last night. I was all in and believed dabo and chad said it was on. I am not at practices, so I have to take the coaches word. I watch games and form an opinion but we were undefeated and getting national pub. so yea I really did believe we could win a nc. but as I said after that curb stomping I dont even know if we are a top 10 team.

Their entire offense has been gone. 3 top wide receivers and both running backs.

I am cool as a cucumber,so I will start out by saying this. No way,no how do I pull for FSU in the National Championship.I would rather pull for Notre Dame, which I did for the first time ever last year when they playrd Bama.Regardless,if FSU does play for the MNC,I hope whoever they play will do to FSU what they did to us. And be d(a)m(m)e(d) with the conference. If Clemson can't win the crystal ball,I could care less if any team in the ACC ever wins it. Secondly,I think you were correct about the SEC,and especially UGA.Not much of a win now if you think about it. Thirdly,USuC has their own issues. We can't take them out either. Finally,it's not so much recruiting top tier talent. We can get that. But we need to bring in some bas a(s)s tough o-line and d-line talent. The battles and wars are won in the trenches. We can,and often do win the battles against lesser opponents, but FSU showed what a physical team can do. We need to get physical.

I think it is a must to change conference perception

You'll never hear me chanting 'ACC' (unless I do it in a mocking tone) but it'd be nice for our conference to put a muzzle on the SEC bias...not only for the sake of Clemson but collegiate football in general. The SEC/ESPN has done a good job of moving collegiate football towards a monopoly with their extreme bias.
I totally agree with O-linemen and D-linemen. That is where we need to continue to recruit depth. We shouldn't have to bring guys over from the D (Shatley) to play on the O, we shouldn't have to continue to force a WR into a TE position (Seckinger) and play that undersized, and we need to address our DB's...I mean, we did take one of our star WR and have him play corner last year didn't we because of injuries and depth? That shouldn't have to happen. We need to address all facets of our D and O and start recruiting FOR the position instead of trying to do so much patchwork.
It hurts to miss out on guys like Montravious, the DE from Indiana, Nkemdiche, Dalvin Cook and others. I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC bias helped sway some of those guys...that is why this perception needs to change...that is why the Seminoles need to take home the crystal ball.
