Television Value

Jul 5, 2022, 4:48 PM

There has been a lot of speculation about who might be going where but so far nobody has made a move that didn't increase geographic footprint based on media markets and State lines. I don't think the networks are looking at this properly because people in DC don't necessarily watch Maryland and neither do people in KC necessarily watch Missou but they don't ask me. I'm just saying if you think were going to the SEC these decisions aren't being made by people who know the value of the programs but suits who are speculating based on bad assumptions about media markets.

These figures bode well for the Tigers going forward. Eyeballs watching your team across the country = $$$$. Local tv market size still matters, but not like it used to. We would be a huge trophy for either of the two big conferences.

But, for a 10-3 Season - We Higher!

Pretty sure the Tigers dropped in this after last year's so-called, "bad season"!

The Tigers program and upstate SC and Charlotte(more Clemson fans in Charlotte than I ever thought) would be a nice grab in terms of viewership. You have to look at where people are moving and where the people "Will Be" in the future.

It says Clemson is # 9 in football viewership. Ahead of the like of Texas, Southern Cal and UCLA. Btw, SCar is 36th. This is good for Clemson.

Notre Dame (3.61M)
LSU (3.22M)
Auburn (3.12M)

Oklahoma (2.90M)
Clemson (2.67M)
Penn State (2.55M)
Florida (2.46M)
Wisconsin (2.27M)
Texas (2.269M)
Florida State (2.23M)
Michigan State (2.20M)
