I wouldn't really say USC since their QB came into Death Valley two years ago as the starter and beat us.

Yep, and they were without Lattimore also. One of the most disappointing days in the Valley. But things will be different this year.

The cat at Scu definitely has the most experience thought. Not to bad really. He carved us up pretty good that one time. I do believe that our d line will expose the guys on this list. GO TIGERS!!!

Thompson has two specific hurdles to overcome now. Aside from what the media has to say , or what Dirtpeckers wish to happen their defense is just not going to be able to pressure people like they have in the past 3 seasons. Doo Doo and the 2009 class are gone...the cupboard isnt bare but it isnt top flight either. So Thompson will have to do more without the luxury of teams being held to low scores.
Also , our defense is light years better now than then , in 2012 we finished #51 overall defensively , last year we finished #13. He is going to feel that improvement very early and very often.
