1st of all nice comeback win, your D made it tough all game, we needed to move the ball better in the second half to win. That being said, the problem is not being unprepared, its lack of depth. That killed SU late in the season last year, along with losing Dungy to a broken foot in the FSU game and having to start a walkon at QB, not a top recruit. Starters were as good as anybody last year witnessed by tough losses @ LSU, Miami and FSU and the win over you guys, but they had to play a lot of minutes in most games and were hurting and worn out by the last 3 games of the year. We were up 38-24 at the half against Wake Forest before the wheels fell of. The Defense totally collapsed and we lost that game 64-43. From then on we had defenders limping around the field and it showed in the scores.

This year the depth is better but still not where we need to be. The last couple of drives for you guys you could see they were worn out, still got some stops but not enough. Hopefully we get better depth on D which will make SU a much better team obviously in the next couple of years. Offensively we still struggle to run the ball, the OLine is better this year but we have basically 2 slot receivers playing running back, next couple of years that will hopefully change also. We have a couple of promising young backs who run like running backs and we have an Oklahoma transfer who looks like he will add a new dimension for us. Also we lose Dungy but Tommy DeVito is a promising highly rated player who throws the ball pretty well and looks like he could be a good one also over the next couple of years.

But no it wasn't being unprepared for a punch in the mouth it was lack of depth and the offense not moving the ball as well in the second half.

Again congrats on the win, hope you guys win out and TL is not hurt to bad. I'm hoping that SU continues to get better and pose a challenge to the upper end of the ACC teams in the years to come. These are the kind of games that are much better than blowouts one way or the other.

Good game and I do think that last drive your defense was dragging, but everything clicked with our offense. Look forward to coming up for next years game.

Yeah I concur with my fellow tiger above...good game and we look forward to coming up for the visit next year (with brass knuckles underneath our gloves hopefully) as you guys surely aren't going to try to knock our QB and starting RB out for the game again because you guys just don't do stuff like that! Cool, take care!

I have to say our OL looked a lot better at run blocking than they did at pass protection.
