Re: stub hub question

I just bought tickets to a UCLA game. I printed them out and they scanned them at the gate. I do not know how other venues work, but I would imagine similarly.

Electronic Delivery....

When the seller puts the tickets up for sale, he/she inputs their barcodes into stubhub. When you buy the tickets, the original hard tickets the seller has are no longer valid and you (the buyer) get new tickets in PDF format via email. You print out the PDF with new barcodes on a sheet of paper and they will scan the tickets at the gate. Your new tickets will be on a sheet of paper....& they will not be like the original hard tickets.

Haven't done it for a while

but when I did, they sent an email with a link. You just click on the link and print the tickets on paper. There is a barcode that gets scanned when you enter the venue. Usually saves a bit of money if you don't mind not having actual tickets.

Re: Instant download vs Electronic delivery

Dec 28, 2012, 3:15 PM

Instant Download - If the seller made the tickets available for Instant Download, you'll get them within minutes of placing your order. After you place your order, StubHub will send you an email with instructions on how to download and print your tickets.

Electronic delivery - After you place your order, the seller has 48 hours to confirm it and deliver your tickets. As soon as the seller confirms your order, StubHub will send you an email with instructions on how to download and print your tickets.
