Travis Haney just reported on the finebaum show that Steve Spurrier was leaning towards stepping down after the loss to Clemson! He had to be talked into coming back by friends and family!

The Columbia club has a history of hiring coaches with some good history, but not necessarily in the rise. I wonder what route they might go? Mack Brown could be looking for a job. Bobby Petrino sounds like just their kind of guy, particularly if he has some success at Louisville.
