Sports Radio Here in Texas

So I was listening to sports radio in Texas today, and naturally they're talking about the TT job. When they started talking Morris, the host said he had talked with a college coordinator who indicated that Morris and Venables don't like each other. Normally I'd blow off something like this-- why on earth would they "know" something here about Clemson that I, a lifelong fan, don't know?-- but a few things kept me from simply dismissing this. First, this is the flagship station for Baylor football. The "college coordinator" in question would be Phil Bennett, Baylor's defensive coordinator who is a Bill Snyder disciple and, I'm guessing, friend/mentor of Venables by virtue of that. Also, the host said at another point that he's known Morris since he coached AA in Texas, and at one time knew him pretty well. So to me, this didn't seem like random speculation about folks he knew nothing about; he very well could have had better sources than I. So, all this to say, I hate rumors and I hate Tigernet when it devolves to that; don't hear this as me starting a rumor. I'm just curious if anyone has ever heard anything like this.

starting a rumor when that is EXACTLY what you are doing.
