you look like a fool right now, I would just stop defending a morally corrupt person that there is tons of evidence he knew what was happening for years.

didn't do anything to stop it then I would/should be held accountable. What makes him any different? Just because he coached Penn St. and said nice things and looked grandfatherly? Reminds me of the saying "The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing" Does that make them great?

Turns out there are strong indications that he knew about the child abuse and chose to allow it to continue by looking the other way. Many of us do consider that to be the action of a "great" man but just the opposite.

What are the strong indications that he knew about it? I love how everybody can accuse a man of looking the other way when they have no clue if he did or not. People can do a dang good job of covering up who they really are. Your best friend could kill people and you never know.

Wouldn't you have fired him no matter how much the admin ignored this? Would you really keep him on and let him still be part of the staff AND STILL HOST THE KID CAMPS?

What I find even more amazing is that post Penn St/Sandusky, Baylor refused to take action, and in most cases DID take action to cover up for their football players.

See, I can do it to. I only wish he hadn't died so he could have been held accountable for his inaction.
The rape was bad enough.. the choosing ofparentless kids with no protecting adult figure is evil and truly makes me want to weep for those poor souls.
