This cycle? Haven’t saw any new offers go out and not sure we have to get one. I understand not taking one just because. Thoughts?

As of now no we're not taking a QB, unless something opens up down the road. That's going to be a major selling point to QB's next cycle though.

I don't know anything about that. When our top targets committed elsewhere the decision was made not to dip down any lower. Now if someone were to open up their recruiting later on for whatever reason it could change.

Davis wanted something we were unwilling to offer. Heard he really liked us but it was a deal breaker.

All the top QB targets committed elsewhere. QB depth is pretty deep and solid, so we prolly don't need to take a QB just to take a QB if there are better players at other positions who want to commit.

Cade has 3 years of eligibility and CV has 4 years, you could always add depth from the portal and just focus on your 2025 guy.

Typically we seem to have a few guys who are takes and I believe I read Dabo likes to space them out, but again if not in the few you want hold the scholly

Do we really need another one? Prospects are looking at us with two premier QB's in our room already and anticipating not seeing playing time for awhile!

I am not worried. Our QB room has some young talent and sometimes you need to stagger your QB's to make sure you keep the talent level even as the years go by. There isn't much promise of playing time with the 2 we currently have on schollie, so the talent level of those who might be interested in coming might not be what we need in order to stay competitive. Once we get some promise of playing time for future recruits (as our 2 young guns get older) I think that will allow us to recruit the level of talent we've come to expect at Clemson at the QB position. Fear not Tiger Nation...IN DABO WE TRUST!!!

We are already taking away the two walk-ons scholarships. That would mean taking Hunter Helms scholarship. It may get hairy if Klubnick is injured, but I don't see talent worth the risk out there.

no use is taking 1 just to take 1. If someone does REthink their commitment elsewhere as the season rolls on, another Grad transfer next season. Did Tyson RS at Bama ? If so could he take COVID year ?
