the country... They are busting their tails in Tallahassee Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, and countless other places around the country...
and we're gonna be going down a slide to get to the locker room?
has dabo taken the "cheerleader" mentality too far this time?

From what I've read, cotton candy is a popular Samoan dessert. Helps the players feel"at home", nothing wrong with that.

It's 2016... We've been to a national championship and just came off our 5th 10 win plus season. Isn't it time to let go of the coot cheerleader idea? If Slurrier was a 'real ball coach' and Dabo's just a cheerleader I'll take a cheerleader anyday. Plus I heard a great cheerleader once say the fun is in the winning...

Ever football player in the country is only allowed to practice and play the game a total of 20 hours a week and this must be documented for the NCAA

the offseason is tough - on players AND on TNet posters. We've been hashing out the same tired subjects for months now, and emotions are running high. A clash like you two just went through should be expected - you're just looking for an Auburn or Seminole or even SC State Bulldog fan to hit (well in the metaphorical Internet sense of the word). Hope you guys can work out your differences and realize we are all on the same team.

I dont care if he dresses like Ronald McDonald as long as we get to watch seasons like the last one. How fun was that seeing the polls come out every week and Clemson being #1....or even in the top 10 for that matter.

Look at it this way

How did things go last season in Auburn, Baton Rouge, Columbia, or "countless other places around the country"?
Did they win 14 games and play for a national championship? Nope.
I think Dabo knows what he's doing. He's an innovator, not a follower.
I'm pretty sure the ONLY people that don't like Dabo's "cheerleader act" are the teams/fans that he's whipping up on with his 2cnd and 3rd string players.

Add the windows, brick & mortar, meeting rooms, basketball courts, team lockeroom, etc... to that list. There's really nothing original about it when you think about it (not even the slide!). Why the heck is Clemson even building it?
You make a nice case for buying stock in cheer-leading coaches in a Jedi-mind-trick sort of way.

I mean we have guys getting concussions from fights in practice. Least we can do is give them some video games and a slide to get their minds off killing each other.

Multiply that by the number of coaches and players, and that's like adding an extra 5-days of practice to our season.

What an assonine thing to say. I bet you're the guy that wanted Jack out because the guys played tight and are now complaining bc Dabo is keeping it loose. I work in an intensive care unit. People die and families are having their worst days. I often find that appropriately placed smile or light hearted comment can be the best medicine. If we can find smiles in an ICU, i think 20 year olds can goof off before a practice or football GAME.

Lol, get real dude. The slide is the least of the distractions at that place. Guess what, other schools have similar distractions, but just a few of what we'll have. We've just decided to have all of them in one place.
I'll admit it. I'm jealous haha. That stuff sounds awesome.

Over Dabo's ultra 1up forward thinking approach. The otrage over the realization thay their (already in the pricess of being constructed) multi-million dollar new facility has been drawn up in a manner that won't compete with Clemson's, tastes so sweet.
