Shamecocks new first team running back...

AJ Turner, taking snaps with first team. Has anybody heard of this kid? Is he any good? Said he was a 3 star. I know their rbs are depleted, but had never heard of this chicken and was wondering if he was legit (or not).

He was a 5.7, a high-end 3...which this day and age means precisely nothing. Wayne Gallman had exactly the same rating.
He's speedy, apparently, and runs hard, but he looked kinda skinny-like in the pics I saw of him, like running between the tackles against salty defenses wasn't going to be very good for his long-term survival. He's 180 and eating 5,500 calories a day to gain weight, apparently, so I'm guessing the plan is to make him fat and slow so he doesn't take all those high-speed impacts and has a lot more padding when he does get hit.
Will Muschamp is also busy crushing the soul of the guy whose spot he took, David Williams. Apparently nobody has forgotten he used to be a 4-star back in the day, so Muschamp is apparently motivating him with such statements as "I asked him what he's done since he's been in college", and then repeating those sentiments to the media, so everybody in Columbia can mock Williams for being soft and unmotivated. Apparently Williams is busy being a 4.0 student; Charmin Boy, it seems, has his priorities completely out of whack. I mean, what a wuss.
