Need to hand out megaphones if anything....shakers reduce the noise because people aren't clapping...just shaking. a lot of lazy fans just clap and don't yell. hand them a shaker and they don't make any noise.

How? The ACC banned noisemakers at venues I thought.

Seeing as how there are signs at almost all entrances to the stadium saying that artificial noisemakers are prohibited, I seriously doubt it.***
