Rev. Dodd and Gee Hawd

Sep 22, 2021, 9:34 AM

With a tough start to the season and big road game at nc state looming…tiger Nation is on the verge of implosion over play calls and o line play…
We need a message from the ole Rev.
it’s time to circle the wagons and head to Raleigh in support of Tigers! They need us and we need them!
Put on your big boy overalls this weekend and gas up your tractors! Nothing is more dangerous than a wounded Tiger! Let’s get it!!! Gee Hawd!!!

Your "cicrle the wagons" point also reminds me of HappyCat

You are correct that we could use a message from the Rev.

I also remember HappyCat rallying Tigernet with a rallying message during a key point in a season during the Tommy Bowden era. The football team was not hitting on all cylinders. HappyCat's "Circle the Wagons" post became an instant classic. And, if I remember correctly, our Tigers went on to upset #3 FSU that next weekend and then finish the season playing great.

No offense, but the Gee Hawd games rarely turned out too

well. We "Gee Hawed" up to Duke and lost and then got blown out at Wake in a Gee Hawd game, as we did in Atlanta.

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure Rev Dodd's Gee Hawd games have a losing percentage.
