commenters making bodacious statements of "fact," based solely on their opinions.
Presently, I don't believe anyone, and I mean, anyone has an inkling of an idea what the powers-that-be either at Clemson, the SEC, B1G or any other entity have in mind or works, regarding Clemson's future...and that includes most of us here on TNet.
As to further realignment, I have posited repeatedly that it would make no sense for the SEC to give an inch of ground within its own territory to any other conference, especially the B1G, thereby allowing any of its members to be playing sports, particularly football, on Saturdays in southern stadiums, especially in DV or at Doak. It would be no different than leaving a front screen door open, knowing a swarm of mosquitoes are on the front porch.
And as for the know-it-alls constantly relegating Clemson to lower tier status within the SEC, what in the hellll is misfiring in their brains? For God's sake!
Lastly, as for TV markets, does anyone in their right minds think that a national power with Clemson's pedigree can't draw huge viewership nationally? Most every team that plays Clemson now, even in off years, considers a Clemson game to be a headliner. Despite location what in the fire do people think about national exposure of a UNC/Bama or UVA/UGA game would be contrasted with Clemson playing either Bama or UGA? Unbelievable, the lack of common sense in the thinking of some people!

Wish I had a dollar for every time a fan of another SEC school told me they wish Scar would get kicked out and replaced by us. I heard this a lot even prior to our run under Coach Swinney.
