Records and yearly stats....

Jan 2, 2013, 2:57 PM

Offense broke last yrs totals in plays, yards, and tds

Boyd broke his season passing yards and TD he set last yr and broke the career passing TD record by 24 tds. Needs 1612 yards to break career passing yards at Clemson I think broke the acc single season TD record of 34 tds.

Hopkins broke Watkins single season yards and tds broken last yr. broke Kelly's receiving yards and tds in a career. Tied single season acc TD receiving record broke most consecutive games with TD and if he come back needs around 500 yards to break acc receiving yards for career.

Boyd-absolutely as his draft stock just isn't there yet
Hopkins-doubtful as he might go in the first round

If you get a projection to the first round you cannot pass that up. For selfish reasons I want him to come back for a senior season, but this is part of being a consistent winner. You have to recruit and reload if you want to be mentioned in the top tier.

Yep.

I think Nuk will get a late 1st Round Grade/ early 2nd. If he runs a sub 4.5 he will go in the first round. If Nuk is confident that this time can be achieved, he needs to go. But, if he feels like he will run somewhere around a 4.65-4.7 it might be a better decision to return. Dwayne Allen got pushed to the third round because of his 4.9/40. Repeating this years performance will be difficult and generally athletes don't drop their 40's from 4.6's to 4.4's in the span of a year.

Ultimately, this decision should come down to strength of '12 vs. '13 Wide Receiver draft and what Nuk/Batson think Nuk will run in the electronic 40.
