I'm not sorry.

Oct 23, 2012, 11:01 AM

To the lady who felt like she had to apologize to her Hokie friend. I made two jokes about VT, and I got the evil eye both times. These were my jokes: after hearing that stupid H-o-k-i-e-s, Hokies! cheer, I inserted the letter C in front of the H. C-h-o-k-i-e-s Chokies. My second joke came after receiving the evil eye for the first joke. After receiving "the glare," I said,"Don't look at me, ask my cousin. He plays for Pitt."

Or the ACC Championship in Charlotte.

In Charlotte, I got cussed at before, during, and after the game. I was appalled. It's hard to be more classless than Gamecock fans in Columbia, but VT almost pulled it off.

I said to a couple of VT fans in lot 4 before the game that we were glad to have them at Clemson. His response was tell, pretty curtly, that he would wait for me to tell him that after the game. I said the outcome of the game has nothing to do with my welcoming them to Clemson. He and his redneck looking girl friend gave me a sarcastic looking snear, but they were gone after the game. Guess they didn't like his visit very much. I'm glad he didn't.

Didn't we let them run down the hill? And this is the thanks we get?

COLLEGE: A three-year starter at strong safety for Clemson, finished his career with 234 tackles and 11 interceptions.

and this is why I quit ever pulling for them

I grew up in a family of Hokies and pulled for them until I went to Clemson. Now they are widely populated with an element of folks I dont recognize or even want to be around

Hokie Fans

Oct 23, 2012, 12:08 PM

Have lived in VA. Most Hokie fans think the world owes them. They rank right there with Coot fans in SC and Tar Holes in Greensboro, NC

Did VT play this song?

The Chokie Hokie

You put your right hand in,
You put your right hand out,
You put your right hand in,
And you shake it all about,

You do the Chokie Hokie
and you turn yourself around
That what it's all about.
