Buddybook neighborhood page has gone ape####. Like ape....#...#....#...#
Ok, so the other night I was driving into the hood. Saw 3 cop cars in front of the house up the street. Cop was out by one patrol car on the street. I slowly drove by looking. Cop waved at me. I thought about stopping and asking what was up, but I knew the cop wouldn't/couldn't say anything. Figured it was some domestic dispute. It happens. Shrugged it off.
WELL....holee #### was I wrong. This transpired on the FB neighborhood group. This crazy ##### lives 5 houses up from me. I may not sleep well for weeks now.
LSS - A 7 year old kid brought a REAL gun to the playground and pointed it at kids (unloaded). A neighbor called the cops.

There were some cop cars in the neighborhood the other night, which I found unusual.

Hiding a gun at the top of a "tall" closet is NOT securing a weapon from anyone as was demonstrated by the fact that this small child got his little hands on it.
I don't know what State you live in, but in NC every firearm sold MUST come with a trigger lock mechanism. The trigger lock can be one of many kinds and are relatively cheap if you don't have one. If this fool is not going to lock his firearm in a safe, then at a minimum he has got to put a trigger lock on that weapon for when his child does find it.
I don't know where you live, but in NC these parents could - and in my county - would have been charged in violation of NC's storage of firearms to protect minors law.
