r. I think that had he not gotten hurt he would have had at least 20 touches in some form or fashion. If nothing else he would have MADE the defense pay attention to him loosening up the rest of the targets.

it is that play that contributed to the beating at fsu which cost him the bc game.
he is not a running back, does not wear the pads that a running back does and probably does not practice running behind his pads like a running back does.
i don't want my all american wr running dives in the read option.

like Sammy Watkins? Let's count the ways:
1) Fly route, stretch em deep
2) 10 yrd out, make that corner earn his keep
3) Slant, let's get some quick positive yards, maybe he breaks it
4) Quick screen, let Sammy make a move
5) Post, kinda risky but Tajh throws em better than anyone else
6) Jet Sweep, kinda slow developing but Sammy's quick enough to make it work
7) Line him up at fullback and run it up the center's butt

I think it's called the dart run or something like that. We ran it against FSU and had some success with it as the Defense wasn't sure if Sammy, or Ellington had the ball
