Frankly, I would put out a help wanted sign and hire 3 secretaries to file the calls. Honestly.

I agree Wes is better than Streeter by a pretty huge amount. I don't mind dumping on Streeter. He is someone who has constantly failed upwards in life. He was a horrible QB, our worst statistically in history. He was backup for the Carolina Cobras arena team for a single year, but was so terrible he was let go. He went to Richmond as head coach and was fired from there, so ended up as our passing coordinator. He had a single blip on the radar for Cole Stoudt's good game right after he started (that he had nothing to do with), so despite his actively hurting a number of our QBs who regressed under him, he is promoted to offensive coordinator with us. He's currently horrible at his job, so at this rate, he'll probably be hired as our new head coach.

Bad facts there.

Fully agree.

Although we're seeing growing pains with the defense, Wes has done enough each game to give us a chance at victory.

Sure, last week sucked for both sides but technically the Defense gave up 21 -- and you could argue we would've only given up 14 had we not had CKs INT sit right at the goaline.

As for Streeter, I'm not entirely confident in him going forward. You can tell a lot by the trust you have in your players by the play call. However, as many have chimed in, our offense has looked anything but smooth for the past two seasons. So it's like... we're in a weird conundrum of -- is it the talent or the play caller?

Typically, you wanna play to your strengths and well...it's been tough to say what that is with our offense most games. Personally, it's like we've reverted to a ball control smash mouth team that sprinkles in some hurry up every so often.

The 2017 offense was very similar to this offense we're seeing now. That team didn't have a burner (I don't consider Deon Cain or Ray Ray McCloud as burners) and KB2, more of a running threat, also wasn't delivering video game numbers and seemed to be more of a game manager than dynamic talent we thought he'd grow to be.

Tough call really and I'm thinking Streeter gets one more year unless Dabo shocks us with off-season changes.

thx

great comments

it is hard to sort it out ---- my default is to think we can afford some BIG horse power with LOTS of experience with a hand on the Tiller of our offense.

“Yeah, definitely”, but he is going to need some presser…
