Im not in the fire streeter camp. It is interesting watching the Tennessee offense though. They spread their receivers way out. There is tons of room for them in the middle of the field to operate. Its an over exaggerated spread.

I have been the biggest Streeter hater on here, but you're right. I think he's an improvement from Tony Elliott (who was a horrible playcaller). Streeter has learned and is switching it up and playing more to his players' strengths than Elliott ever did. I do still think we're underperforming what we should be: we're the #20 scoring offense, #55 total offense, #58 passing offense, #54 rushing offense, and #53 in yard per rush.
But we're clearly much better than we were last year and are very good at tuning redzone possessions into touchdowns. Anyone who's seen us should be able to see that. And sometime, that's enough, if our defense comes together and plays like we're used to (which they have the last 2 weeks).
Neither Streeter (nor Dabo) are offensive genii, and we could have hired someone outside the program who was likely better. But Streeter's performing perfectly fine right now for a new coordinator and to call him JV after the last 3 weeks is ridiculous.

Tony Elliott is one of the brightest offensive minds in college football. Look at what he has done with the top retuning QB’s in the ACC, one of the top returning WR’s in the ACC, and one of the top TE’s in the ACC this year.
As far as Streeter, he has no history of running a hurry up offense , so can’t blame him for not doing what he doesn’t know. I’m sure Dabo had an idea of what offense Streeter would run when he hired him

Many of the route trees UT is using today are the same as ours. The 3rd TD where UT scored on the bunch set faking the screen to RB on strong side and throwing back to slot is same play we ran to Williams last week. Difference to me is speed of plays. Otherwise, I don’t see anything much different. Ultimately the QB decides where the ball goes. Using the whole field is something DJ has gotten better at as of late.

Whatever point Chad got in the first half thats about where it stopped could not make adjustments. And Streeter is a serious udgrade over Elliot he will be fine. Streeter doesnt have a Watkins Hopkins Allen to gameplan around

It's a shame to wallow in that misery but it's part of being a bitter man which is causing it.
I'd suggest you take a closer look at UcheaT's defense and consider that Bama's defense is a bit worse. Maybe that will help relieve the misery.

I have to agree with Pal-Son about Tenn offense being "out of this world" great against ALA almost as good as Burrow and LSU were a couple of years ago. Will it, or can it continue? We'll see.
BTW, Streeter is quoted as saying that we (Clemson) stayed aggressive in the 4th qtr and did not let up, but the play calling was often questionable IMO.
