He’s going to be awesome along with Mafah in Garrett Riley’s offense!

Welp if we somehow turn this year into a special season Ship would be a big part of it and could find himself on the ballot.

He may not even be the best RB on the team. He’s a RB. Dabo never lets guys pile up Heisman stats. Deshaun and Trevor never won it. I guess if you have one highlight hurdling a defender they can list you as a dark horse candidate - it’s a horse race they like to show every week but is pretty meaningless.

Yeah when it comes the Heisman they are against Clemson. When a generational talent like Trevor can’t win the Heisman, I don’t see any Clemson player winning it. I hope I am dead wrong on this in the near future.

Honestly, with the way Clemson players has been shunned in the past, I wouldn't care if the voters ever looked Clemson's way ever again for a Heisman award, and award is exactly how I now see the Heisman, it's awarded and not won by being the player in the country that has done the most to help their team to win. The Heisman voters should actually be known for shoving that trophy up each other's A$$!!!!

The biggest issue I have with this event is they vote before all games had been played. I have little doubt Watson would have won over Lamar Jackson had this backwards approach not existed and the votes were tallied after taking Alabama behind the woodshed in that historic beatdown.

Beatdown? We won on a questionable screen play. It was one of the finest moments in my time on this rock, but it was no beatdown. Incidentally, 2016 was probably my favorite year of my life. Trump beat Killary and we got a natty. Doesn't get much better than that!! Now, you wanna talk beatdown...44-16 for the natty. That's an asswhoopin'.

I got the two confused (getting old ) . I realized it after I posted but the whole point was that had they voted after that performance by Watson he would have won the Heisman.

Cease & desist on Hypesman talk for any Tiger. They'll never win. Ship could have 4,000 AP yards and he'll be second place to some pass happy QB from the SEC. Focus on the team goals, one at a time and shut out the Hypesman talk. It's a distraction.
Oh, and go back to the in-season social media ban too.

I would be just as thrilled if Ship won the Doak Walker Award

Shipley is a beast. Should be given Heisman on heart alone (Boulware-esque). DW and TL should have won too.
