Answered in another thread.

1) since ESPN wont pay additional $ for a basketball school, adding UConn would reduce the annual payment to current teams.

2) we took Cuse when they were at the top of the basketball food chain and it did not work out well for the ACC. UConn has nothing to offer except basketball and will not be on top forever.
