Fans around me started cheering, "ACC! ACC! ACC!"
That just bothered me. I cheer for Clemson and will pull for an ACC team when playing an SEC team. But, seriously, let's not become "ACC homers"

That started up in UT at the end of the game. My 13 year old son got an 'ACC' out 1 time. I said "what are you doing". He looked at me with a confused look. "We pull for Clemson not a conference. If you want to chant Clemson, go ahead." I think he got what I was saying.

I had a UGA fan sitting behind me who started with the "welcome to the sec" crap just a few plays into the game. I rode his @$$ the rest of the night with various chants about the ACC. I will always illustrate absurdity by being absurd.

We have to here "SEC, SEC, SEC" all the time, and the game was being broadcast on ABC/ESECPN, so it was done for the purpose of media hacks who base things too much off of conference affliation.

I definitely chanted SEC to any Georgia fan that was my age group after the game.. Any guy with kids? Nope.. 4 other guys about my same age? SEC! SEC! SEC! I chanted SEC about 100 different times and the uga fans would get this look like you tea bagged their wife or mom or something haha. I actually got a radio-like breakdown out of at least one of them where our obviously satirical chanting put him in culture shock.. Needless to say he got very very upset hahaha. SEC! SEC! SEC!

One article I read (sorry, can't remember which one) referenced Clemson's student section mocking the ridiculous league pumping of some SEC teams by chanting "ACC! ACC!"
