NC State starting right tackle suspended indefinitely.

NC State starting right tackle Will Richardson has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.

Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren announced Richardson’s suspension Sunday afternoon. The Raleigh News & Observer reported that Richardson was arrested early Sunday morning for driving while impaired.


Poor fellow, took the #### whippin we handed them to heart and went out and got drunk.

Shame, if you can't run with the big dogs you need to stay on the porch!

think if a CU coach did something like that we'd do nothing? Or Swoff wouldnt suspend him if we didnt?

I don't see it as a misfortune. A tree falls on you that's misfortune. For an entitled student athlete to go out and get drunk and then drive after a loss is stupidity at it's height and he should be held accountable. I live near Raleigh, over the summer we had a UNC student go out and get drunk, went up the wrong side of I-40 and slammed into a Suzuki and killed 3 people including a 7 year old girl.

It's not that I 'relish' his misfortune. I think he should be held publicly accountable and shamed for his immature and dangerous actions.

This is the thing, our student athletes are not perfect either. College students are going to be college students. They smoke some weed. They drink some alcohol. A whole lot of them drink, smoke, and drive. Some get caught. Some even get caught with Cocaine. We aint perfect either.
